Water and weight loss
May 27th
It would be a great solution to alot of peoples weight loss problems if we could just drink water and watch the weight just drop off. But in reality, its not that easy. The good news however is that water plays a vital role in weight loss and you can achieve great success by drinking it.
Water is very important for the correct function of your body’s natural processes. Without enough water, your whole system can become slow and sluggish, which also makes weight loss difficult. So you should make sure that you drink enough of it. Make sure you drink around 8 glasses a day or 2 liters. This is the recommended daily intake according to experts. This should keep your body functioning properly.
Why does water help with weight loss?
There are several reasons why this works:
This is one of the main factors in the success of weight loss. With a slow metabolism you may find yourself struggling to shed those extra pounds, or even lose any weight at all. many things affect your metabolism; how much you exercise, how often you eat, and of course how much water you drink. You can speed up your metabolism just by drinking the required amount of water.
When you are dehydrated, you may think you are getting a feeling of hunger. This is often not the case. Your body sometimes cannot tell the difference between a feeling of hunger and a feeling of thirst. So you may end up snacking, thinking that you are hungry, when you actually just need a drink of water
This is what the liver usually does: burns fat. If you are dehydrated, then the liver takes on the tasks of the kidneys, which need alot of water to function properly so it can’t burn as much fat any more.
The important thing to remember with using water for weight loss is not to drink too much of it because it will flush out too many essential minerals from your body. Too much of anything is never good, even with things that are good for you.
