Not only is this adding extra calories to your daily total, most people do it on autopilot, so they are not even enjoying what they are eating. Only eat what you need, and then leave the rest. You don’t have to throw it away, you can save it until later, or have it as a snack the next day. This is a great way to speed up your metabolism if nothing else, by splitting up what you are eating
2===> Split up your meals
As I mentioned above, you can make the most of what you are actually eating by having half now and half later. This approach fuels your metabolisma dn stamps out hunger. You are giving yourslef a steady supply of energy, which keeps you feeling fuller for longer
3===> Fill up on fiber
Fiber helps to fill you up and leaves you feeling full for a lot longer than any other type of food group. It actually costs your system more calories to digest fiber than say for example carbohydrate. Make sure fiber rich foods such as wholegrains, vegetables, pulses and beans make up part of your diet plan
4===> Get enough water
I say this all the time, but its so important to get enough water. Forget the myths that it makes you put on weight. Water is vital to general good health, as well as weight loss. It sparks your metabolism, stops hunger and makes you feel great. But remember not to overdo it, around 8-10 glasses of water a day is enough, too much watercan be bad for you, just like with too much of anything.
5===> Control your portions
Make sure you don’t fill your plate high big portions of any type of food. Moderation is the key to a healthy lifestyle, so make sure you remember this. A good judge of what is a reasonable portion is whether or not that portion is bigger than your clenched fist. Anything bigger than this is likely to be too much.
